Deleting Your Account

If you need to delete your AssetSwap account, you can do so through the Security settings. Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Important Warning

Once you delete your account, there is no going back. All your data will be permanently deleted from our database and authentication system, including:

  • Your account profile and settings

  • Trading history and analytics

  • Wallet connections and configurations

  • AI credits and usage data

  • All personal information

Step-by-Step Guide to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your AssetSwap account:

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Click on your profile or settings icon to access the main settings menu.

Step 2: Go to Security Tab

In the left sidebar under the "Preferences" section, click on the Security tab.

Step 3: Locate Delete Account Section

Scroll down to the bottom of the Security page where you'll find the "Delete Account" section highlighted in red.

Step 4: Click "Delete My Account"

Click the red "Delete My Account" button. You will be shown the warning message:

"Once you delete your account, there is no going back. All your data will be permanently deleted from our database and authentication system."

Step 5: Confirm Deletion

Confirm your decision to permanently delete your account. This action cannot be reversed.

Before You Delete

Before proceeding with account deletion, consider the following:

  • Withdraw Funds: Make sure to withdraw any remaining funds from your connected wallets

  • Export Data: Download any trading history or reports you may need for your records

  • Cancel Subscriptions: Ensure all active subscriptions or recurring payments are cancelled

  • Save Important Information: Export or save any important account information you may need later

  • Pause Trading: You can simply stop using the platform without deleting your account
